The Salvation Army

Since 1891, The Salvation Army of Hackensack has been seeking to meet the need of the residents of Bergen county. Currently, we serve the communities of Bogota, Hackensack, Maywood, River Edge, South Hackensack, and Teaneck.
Our goal is to serve those in our community by meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs, all through sharing the love of God.
Through a variety of programs, opportunities for worship, and services, we believe that you will find a welcoming environment. All are free to join our programs and worship services where we strive to be the encouragement that people need in our present society.
