Since 1896, we’ve evolved from a small footwear shop on New York City’s Lower East Side into a trusted name in the industry. In 1931, we opened a factory in New Jersey, proudly making footwear there for decades. While production began moving overseas in the 1980s to meet growing demand and changing global dynamics, the factory remained an important part of our heritage until its official closure in 2002. We are proud to still call New Jersey our home.
