Established in 1978, Care Plus NJ, Inc. (CPNJ), we serve the northern counties of New Jersey, with our primary headquarters located in Bergen County. We provide mental health, addiction, and primary care services to over 8,000 individuals in Bergen County alone, with Hackensack being one of our largest service areas. We serve children, adults, and families, offering a wide range of behavioral health and supportive services, designed to help individuals and families improve their quality of life. Specifically, we offer:
*Mental health care: outpatient therapy, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, crisis intervention, and stabilization.
*Substance use support: recovery-focused treatment, outpatient detox, and addiction services.
*Integrated care: combines behavioral health with primary care screening and monitoring.
*Crisis services: mobile crisis teams and emergency support options.
*Support services: peer support, family support programs, case management, and social/housing assistance.
*Special programs: services aimed at specific populations such as pregnant/postpartum women, youth programs, and community-based wellness initiatives.
We have the specific federal designation as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). Our crisis services include the operation of the 24/7 Psychiatric Emergency Screening Program (262-HELP) and the Children's Mobile Response Services. We also have multiple outpatient sites, and 10 Residential group homes. We have a staff of approximately 550 individuals.
